BAPTISM – There will be a baptism this Sunday, October 1, immediately following the second service. Please plan on staying a bit later, or returning this Sunday morning, to join us in the sanctuary for this baptism.
MINISTRY CLASS – Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 2-5PM in The Upper Room. This is the third class, but you do not need to take them in order. In this class we talk about spiritual gifts, about the ministries of Clairemont Emmanuel and we look at what we can learn about ministry from the Apostle Paul. If you have not yet taken this class, contact Pastor Kenny (619-508-3785) to sign up or for more information. Our goal is that every Clairemont Emmanuel take all four courses. We believe all the classes will help to equip you to live the victorious Christian life.
SATURDAY TIJUANA HOUSE BUILD WITH MEXICO CARAVAN MINISTRIES (MCM) - Saturday, October 21st from 6AM-7PM (somewhat dependent on the border crossing). We will leave and return to our church parking lot in provided vehicles. Travel Requirements: Passport, MCM General Release, CEBC Waiver and Release of Liability. Cost: $85 per person (for building materials – 1 house =$1500). WOMEN’S INTRO TO INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY - Saturday, October 14th, in The Upper Room, from 9 to 11AM. This class introduces you to a step-by-step method about how to study the Bible. KOINONIA ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS NEW STUDY –New Course: Exodus 1-6: The Oppression of Israel in Egypt, and God’s appointment of Moses to deliver Israel

More information: These chapters cover the growth of Israel’s population in Egypt as a result of God’s promise to make them a nation, Egypt’s fear of and oppression of Israel, how Moses was saved from death as an infant, and adopted into the royal household, and exiled for decades, and how God then appeared to and spoke to Moses, sending Moses to appear before Pharaoh to free Israel.
