CO-ED PICKLE BALL AT CEBC – on the third Saturday of the month (TOMORROW, August 19is the next opportunity). Pickleball games and lessons will be available for men and women ages 13 and up from 8:30AM - 10:30AM. All skill levels are welcome. Two courts on the west side of Fellowship Hall, lower area. Learn to play, learn strategy to improve your game, and enjoy open play. Paddles are available or bring your own. SUNDAY WORSHIP – There is a storm coming and so please drive carefully and be patient with yourself and with others. We will have both our services (9AM and 10:30AM) on Sunday and hope you can join us but do bring an umbrella.
FINAL BAYSIDE BBQ – This Wednesday, August 23 at 6PM, just north of the Mission Bay Beach Club/Superbloom Coffee shop and the Mission Bay basketball courts, is our last church-wide event of the summer. It’s supposed to be a beautiful day / evening. We’ve had over 200 at each of first three dates! Come early for parking or park in a nearby lot and walk to us. Please join us for this end of summer event! It’s $2 per person or $5 maximum per family. What a deal!! What to bring? If your last name starts with: A-K - Salad (potato / pasta / green / fruit / etc.) L-S - Side Dish (Chips / Baked Beans / Fried Chicken / etc.) T-Z - Desserts / Store bought sides are welcome!
DAN DANGEL MEMORIAL SERVICE – Our friend and brother passed away recently. He is with the Lord and in no more pain. We miss him. His wife, Cathy, has been so encouraged and uplifted by all the cards, prayers, words of encouragement, and these last couple weeks, hugs from many. Please continue to pray for her and their two daughters, Hannah (and her family) and Eryn. DAN’S MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE AT 1PM ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 26, AT CLAIREMONT EMMANUEL’S SANCTUARY. MAUI RELIEF – If you would like to make a donation to Maui this week (over and above your regular giving), we will find a church that needs to be rebuilt and helping them toward that goal. Just put Maui in the memo line on your check or note this if you’re giving on-line.

CHILDCARE HELPERS NEEDED – THIS SATURDAY, August 19 from 4:45-8:15 PM in the Ark for our Parent Date Night / Popcorn & Pajamas Movie Night for the kids. Childcare will be offered for 1–5-year-olds. Elementary age kids will be in the Harbor for the evening. We are able to pay five Ark childcare workers $70 each. Please let us know if you are available to help!
